Our History
Quarter Moon Imports first opened its door in November 1989. Starting out in a half a building in the historic Lake Ella cottages, with a sparse collection of imported handicrafts, Quarter Moon has grown to occupy a full cottage and carry a broad range of products including clothing, jewelry, handcrafted gifts, home decor and more. Check out Our Products to view a selection of our unique items from around the world. We feel fortunate to have spent our years here in the center of town among the other shops At Lake Ella.

Locally owned and operated, Quarter Moon is committed to the Tallahassee community.
Quarter Moon will contribute items and gift certificates to 36 local community organizations per year in addition to being one of the sponsors of the “Feed the Community” Festival every November. This festival benefits the Second Harvest Food Bank. Please contact us if your community organization, school or favorite charity is having an event and you think we can help.
