Don’t forget that this Saturday, Quarter Moon is having a Pet Food Drop Collection. The food goes to the Leon County Humane Society to help low income seniors feed their pets and keep them in safe and loving homes. We have had so much fun this month watching the Quarter Moon Facebook page fill up with photos of the most beautiful heart stealing pets. The voting will continue through Wednesday June 20th and the winner of the pet photo contest will be announced on Thursday June 21st. Thursday June 21st is also our Shop and Share day for the Leon County Humane Society. Please come and shop that day and 10% of all sales from folks who mention LCHS will go to support their amazing program. LCHS shelters animals in foster care situations, provides assistance for Spay Neuter Services and as mentioned provides pet food food for low income seniors.
We have been really moved by the response to the pet food drive. One customer, unable to come Saturday, made a special trip to drop off food yesterday. We are expecting a great turn out on Saturday. Tallahassee is such a supportive community and we are so proud to be a part of it!
