There has never been a better day than THIS Sunday November 4th–to get outdoors, listen to great local music, enjoy a food truck meal and literally help to feed your community. There will be children’s activities too!
The 2nd Annual Scott Campbell Feed the Community Festival is helping to pull it together for the big bend area that was hit so hard by Hurricane Michael. This festival is held annually in honor of our dear friend, well loved and revered musician, Scott Campbell. Scott was a champion of local causes. He always gave generously of his time and talent. He passed away on January 25th 2017 and this is our opportunity to honor his memory by enjoying music and community and giving back.
America’s Second Harvest of the Big Bend has taken on the extreme need for support after the hurricane which will continue for many months to come. We can help them to replenish the food bank. Bring a bag of non -perishable food and visit the auction table filled with local art and gifts from local businesses. Second Harvest will also be accepting direct financial contributions. There will also be a sale of albums and CD’s from Scott Campbell’s personal collection. All proceeds will go directly to Second Harvest. Second Harvest can provide 4 meals for every dollar raised.
