Scorpio

Born on or between October 23rd and November 21st, Scorpio’s are known for being great leaders and secret keepers. They have no problem expressing and experiencing emotions, making tough decisions, and they are always resourceful. Pluto (RIP?) is their ruling planet making them the queens and kings of being calm, cool, and collected. Some may characterize them as being mysterious, but they simply understand the rules of the universe on a deeper level. While Scorpio’s make great leaders, power can be a double-edged sword for these individuals. They are truly the best of the best, yet the worst of the worst because they go after everything with such tenacity and dedication.

Some other characteristics of the sign are:

1. They aren’t big on second chances. If you let a Scorpio down, they often don’t look back.
2. They are the most sensual sign making intimacy very important to them. With this in mind, they can get very jealous.
3. Scorpio’s are most happy around witty, fun-loving people like themselves.
4. Often times if they are upset or in pain, it’s impossible for someone else to make them feel better.

November is so fancy, it has TWO birthstones: Citrine and Topaz.

Citrine

When I first saw Citrine in the store, I was surprised I felt drawn to it. Normally, I’m a blue/green stone kinda gal but there was something about this pale yellow stone that pulled me in. Upon further research, I learned that Citrine carries the power of the sun and helps awaken the soul. When worn, it helps transform dreams and wishes into tangible form.

Other properties:

1. Instead of accumulating negative energy, it dissipates and  grounds it making the stone super protective.
2. Citrine is one of two stones that never needs to be cleared or cleansed.
3. It’s also known as the Merchant’s stone because it increases wealth and helps maintain it.

Topaz

If you weren’t already feelin’ boujee about being a November baby, you definitely will after I tell you that Topaz comes in different colors! Yes, even more options to represent your birth month! From shades of red and pink, yellow and orange, and blue, you are sure to find your piece. Thankfully, we just got a huge shipment of Blue Topaz in!

Blue Topaz helps make clear and specific decisions about your life path. Let’s face it, when life gets chaotic we may put our needs/wants on the back burner. Wearing or having this stone near you will help remind you of your dreams. It’s thought to be the Writer’s Stone because of its ability to help with writer’s block. It sparks creativity and helps turn what you think into what you write/say.
